The value for money at Burcombe Manor was excellent, with a beautiful room and stunning garden views. The location was just right for us, with an isolated feel but still within walking distance to a local pub. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming.
The only thing that could have improved the morning meal was the ability to slightly open the windows for some fresh air.

The location was really peaceful and serene, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It provided a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the breakfast served was really delicious and satisfying, giving me the energy I needed for the day. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed the interesting conversations I had with my fellow travelers during breakfast, making the experience more enjoyable.
I was disappointed by a few things during my stay. the cleanliness of the windows was not up to par, which obstructed the view outside.

I wanted a countryside B&B and Burcombe Manor was perfect. The room had two comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and a delicious cooked breakfast. Wendy was incredibly helpful with all my travel questions. The nearby village pub, The Ship, recently reopened and had excellent food. The house and surrounding views were stunning, and the owners, Wendy and Nick, have clearly put a lot of work into it. It's a beautiful place to stay and I will definitely choose it again if I'm in the area.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
